About Juniper Hill Golden Retrievers

Juniper Hill Golden Retrievers is located in beautiful and rural Tolland County, Connecticut. Our Golden Retrievers are part of the family and share our home and spacious fenced property. We enjoy showing our quality, well-bred Golden Retrievers and participating in activities such as Conformation, Rally, Obedience, Dock Diving, Therapy, Scent Work and Tracking. Our Goldens also boast Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Certifications.

We have shared our lives with Golden Retrievers for over thirty (30) years. We are members in good standing of the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA)m, the Connecticut River Valley Golden Retriever Club (CRVGRC), and Southern Berkshire Golden Retriever Club (SBGRC). We adhere to GRCA’s Code of Ethics and the Golden Retriever written breed standard.

If interested in a puppy from a current or future litter, please click on any of the “Apply” buttons. Please note that an application does not guarantee you a puppy. We want to make sure our puppies are being placed in safe, loving, and suitable homes and that we have the right puppy for you. This decision is based on our knowledge, experience, and the information you provide to us. The more you can tell us about yourself, your family, your lifestyle and what you plan to do with your new puppy, the better we can assess if we have a puppy for you in a current or future litter. Each puppy’s structure, health, aptitude, temperament and energy level will be assessed before making our final placement decisions.

We are a small, home-based breeder. We breed for quality, not quantity. All of the dogs used in our breeding program are of sound health and temperament and possess all required health clearances. Determinations are not made until all evaluations are completed and pups have been examined by our veterinarian. If you feel the need to choose your own puppy, we are not the breeders for you.

We require a deposit in order to reserve a puppy. If we feel any of our pups will not suit your needs, we will let you know, and your deposit will be fully refunded.
